ExpanDrive

Imagine that you are registered to several FTP, SFTP, WebDAV or Amazon S3 services and you constantly use each of them, exchanging and sharing files. It may be really difficult and annoying to access each service separately. Moreover, each service requires a specific type of access, for example, to be able to connect to a FTP server, you need to install a FTP client and also configure it. Fortunately, there is an application which simplifies these types of connections and it's called ExpanDrive.

This Windows application allows you to add various file storage accounts, like FTP, WebDAV or Amazon S3 as regular mapped network drives. Thus, you will be able to easily and quickly access all your online files and also copy or move files from an account to another directly. After the program has been installed and launched, the user will need to activate the 7 day trial by entering his name and email address.

After completing this step, one should next define the online accounts. As such, he will just need to select the desired account type and then add the server, username, password and port, according to the type of account selected. For example, in case he selects Amazon S3, he will need to enter a server ID and a password, while selecting FTP requires entering the server address, username and password. After the desired accounts have been configured, one will be able to access each of them from My Computer, as ExpanDrive will map each account as a regular network share.

An unlimited number of accounts can be defined in the application. From the settings area, the user can also configure ExpanDrive to start together with Windows and also have the application automatically check for updates.
